Action: Ask Your Members of Congress to Support the Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act!

The Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act, a legislative priority for LUNGevity and the broader cancer community, was recently reintroduced by Reps. Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Fitzpatrick (R-PA), and DeSaulnier (D-CA) in the House and by Sens. Klobuchar (D-MN) and Cardin (D-MD) in the Senate.

This legislation includes a number of provisions that would improve the quality and coordination of care for cancer survivors, including coverage for patients and providers to develop personalized treatment care plans; a demonstration program with grants for patient navigation services; a program to provide workforce assistance to cancer survivors; and a comprehensive cancer survivorship program that would provide educational resources to both survivors and healthcare providers.

Write your members of Congress today and ask them to co-sponsor the Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act!
